Don has the leadership responsibilities for our Customer Service function as Director. He reports directly to Scott Swogger, AccuTemp's President & CEO; and is based out of our Fort Wayne, Indiana World Headquarters.
Don joined AccuTemp in December of 2005 as a Service Technician. Don's experience and knowledge of the Customer Service field is quite extensive having managed call centers with over 20 call center technicians and 12 remote field service engineers. Don has also managed and setup authorized service representatives across the US. Don's prior company experience ranges from hands on experience as a machine shop operator to his most recent experience that included management positions with the Lowe's organization.
Help Desk Supervisor / Field Service Engineer
Andy as the Help Desk Supervisor and Field Service Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the help desk and all technical service training. He reports to Don Peaks, AccuTemp's Director of Technical / Customer Service. Andy is a former United State Marine with over 25 years of management experience, 10 in the food service industry. Prior to joining AccuTemp, he served as the Service Manager for Intek Mfg. and the Operations Manager for American Cook Systems. As the Service Manager for Intek Mfg. he played a key role in developing their service training program, he was also extensively involved in new product development. At American Cook Systems, having been hired in at the start of the company, he played a major role in developing their service department and product production procedures. Andrew's experience with two of Accutemp's competitors brings valuable resource to AccuTemp's service team.
Field Service Engineer
Dan joined the US Air Force at 18 where he became a fully qualified aircraft mechanic. It is here where he developed his technical background while progressing to the rank of Staff Sargent. Dan has served for 8 years and has been on multiple deployments including but not limited to Afghanistan and Kuwait. He is now on his final enlistment with the Air National Guard and graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University. Dan’s hobbies are restoring classic cars, snowboarding, kayaking, fishing and riding motorcycles, snowmobiles and jet skis.
Parts & Service
Ann has been with AccuTemp for 4 years in the Parts & Service Depts. She has been in the customer service field 15 plus years. Prior to AccuTemp she worked at General Electric for 10 years and General Telephone (now Frontier) for 1 year. Hobbies include the outdoors; riding bikes, hiking and camping with my family. I am also into collecting cook books and cooking up many new recipes!
Technical Service Representative II
Scott is a retired Air Force Aircraft Technician who worked on 6 different aircraft over a 20 year period. Formerly from Tucson Arizona, Scott and his family moved to Fort Wayne in 2015 when he joined the AccuTemp Team. He enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the local area. He is a vintage Volkswagen, Harley Davidson, and automotive enthusiast.
Technical Service Technician
Brandon was hired to be a Technical Service Technician in 2009. With our 7-7-7 Lifetime Service and Support Brandon has assumed the role of our “On Call” customer support during the weekends and holidays. Prior to AccuTemp, Brandon worked as a robotic technician at Alcoa and wrote mortgages. Brandon enjoys hanging out with the wife and two girls.
Senior Technical Service Technician
Bill was hired by AccuTemp in the factory department in 1996 and in 1999 he moved into the Customer Service department. He has worked to the current level of Senior Technical Service Technician.
Warranty Administrator/ Assistant Manager of the Technical/ Customer Service
With over 30 years of customer service, Lori was hired by AccuTemp as the Warranty Administrator as well as the Assistant to the Manager of the Technical/Customer Service department. Before AccuTemp, Lori worked at Challenge Tool; Operator & Secretary to VP Finance and Motion Industries; Customer service and Invoicing/Billing. Away from AccuTemp, Lori likes to crochet, and partake in family activities with her kids and husband.
