The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act


Congress passed the $787.2 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (H.R. 1), also known as the economic stimulus plan, on February 13, 2009.  President Obama signed the bill into law on Tuesday, February 17.
